Chartwell Baptist Church
Welcome! Our doors are open to you.
If you're visiting for the first time an explanation about Chartwell being "one church, many congregations", might be of interest. In some respects, the model reflects who we are, our values, and what we believe God has called us to. Over the years Chartwell has been led to branch out rather than size up - to expand in such a way as to maintain close community and to ensure that growth continues to be about people not numbers. What makes us "one" is what we share, what makes us "many" is that we're made up of individual congregations distinct in character, reflecting both the personality of its members as well as the needs of the community it serves. Feel free to check out each congregation for more information.
One of the “big picture” things we share as a community is our vision—to be “in relationship and on mission”. Essentially what this means is that we want to be “in sync” with God and with one another as we live out the love of Christ to the world around us. It’s what God has called us to. It’s a journey we’re on together, one step at a time.
So whether you’re at a seeking place in your life or looking to put down roots and go deeper with God, we’d love to have you join us. As always, the good people found under our Contacts section are ready to help you with what ever needs you may have. Chartwell is a member of both The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist churches in Canada (FEB.) & The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC.).
“And the Lord shall guide you continually
and satisfy your soul.”
(Isaiah 5:11)
