What our Giving Supports Donations to Chartwell support the annual budget, which funds our ministry within our church, our communities, and our world. Through our budget we support our five congregations and our ministry commitments to national and international missions and local community outreach. Monthly financial reports are prepared for review by the Board. The latest monthly report can be viewed here. Congregational ministry activity includes programs for youth, children, men’s and women’s ministries, life gatherings, worship, teaching, pastoral care. We also have facilities and operational costs, including church administration. Through our mission programs we support men and women from Chartwell who serve in Malawi, South Africa, Turkey, and Romania. We also support national church leaders and pastors in Mongolia, Indonesia, China, and Peru. A complete overview is available here. Local community outreach includes our partnerships with Kerr Street Ministries in Oakville, and the Compass in Mississauga. The annual budget is approved by members at the annual general meeting in June (our fiscal year runs July to June). Audited financial statements are available. Please contact the Executive Pastor.
How to Give Giving at Chartwell is managed confidentially and according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. Donations to our ministry are eligible for a charitable tax donation receipt. Offering envelopes Pre-authorized bank withdrawals On-line Gift planning can be enhanced by donating publicly traded securities - including shares, bonds, mutual funds, and segregated funds. We will work through the details with you and your financial institution.
